Elizabeth Lane graduated from the University of Utah and worked as a teacher, a proofreader, and an educational software designer in a job that included writing children’s stories. Many of the children’s books she wrote are still in print. Her first book for adults, Mistress of the Morning Star, was published in 1980. After publishing five more novels and ghost-writing two others, she began writing for Harlequin’s line of historical novels.
