With her reputation in shambles, Grace retreats to her hometown on the picturesque island of Shelter Beach to tend bar (and her wounds) at her family's inn...and strategize her next move.

As summer heats up, Grace is thrown for a sexy loop. She falls headfirst into a flirtation with a dreamy local fisherman (who was once her high school crush), and keeps running into the intriguing, if infuriating, British reporter-turned-author in the beach house next door. Amid snarky exchanges and heartfelt conversations, Grace is challenged in ways she never expected.
