She eventually collected enough wisdom to produce a pamphlet and hand it out at the ceremony. To her surprise, advice like, “Don’t listen to your parents,” was a big hit with the graduates and their parents. Now all of McMillan’s tidbits are collected here in this witty, concise volume. University students-to-be will appreciate the vital information and conversational tone of this honest book, as will anyone who has ever been through the college transitional process.
