Author Bio: Lance Roger Axt

Lance Roger Axt created the audio theater production company Play it by Ear Productions, and served as producing director from 2002 through its end in 2010. During those eight years, he produced many programs, including world-premiere radio one-acts for the award-winning anthology series We Have Ignition.

Lance is a proud member and, as of 2010, vice president, of the National Audio Theater Festivals, Inc., an organization dedicated to the education and promotion of contemporary audio theater. He is one of the co-creators of the Norman Corwin Award for Excellence in Audio Theater, the only award of its kind in America honoring life achievement in audio theater and radio drama, for which he serves on the nominating committee.

Author Bio: Elaine Lee

Elaine Lee is an Emmy-nominated actor and playwright, as well as a critically acclaimed creator and writer of comics, animation, games, non-fiction, and audio plays. Elaine has created a number of original comics series, including Vamps, BrainBanx, The Transmutation of Ike Garuda, and Skin Tight Orbit. She has also served as writer on titles for DC Comics, Marvel, and Dark Horse. Her short stories have appeared in Heavy Metal, Epic Illustrated, Taboo, and Charles Vess’ “Ballads and Sagas.” She also co-wrote the humorous “self-help” book Porch Dogs: The Unmuzzled Truth About Men and Our Relationships with Them.

Elaine is a regular contributor to the Huffington Post; her column focuses on creator-owned books and creator rights in the comics publishing arena.

Jamal Igle is one of the most popular and prolific pencillers in the comic book industry and an Inkpot Award-winning artist and writer. Best known for Supergirl with writer Sterling Gates, he is also a former comics retailer, editor for several small press companies, junior art director and marketing rep in the advertising and publishing arenas, and a conceptual artist for the toy and gaming industries. Jamal lives in Brooklyn, New York with his wife and daughter.
