Fantasy and madcap mischief abound in this classic story of a young girl's tour through an enchanted realm. Alice, a bored young girl sitting on the side of a riverbank, is suddenly whisked away to a world populated by fantastic characters— from a white rabbit and a Cheshire cat to a mad hatter and a queen of hearts. After tumbling down a rabbit hole, Alice experiences one adventure after another— from shrinking so small that she finds herself floundering in a pool of her own to tears to engaging in a preposterous conversation at an absurd tea party. A classic story of imagination and wonder, which has entertained millions for more than a century, comes to life in this engaging audiobook.

Author Bio: Lewis Carroll

Lewis Carroll was the pen name of Charles Lutwidge Dodgson (1832–1898), English author, mathematician, and photographer. One of eleven children of a scholarly country parson, he studied mathematics at Oxford, obtained a university post, and then was ordained as a deacon but found true success with his masterpiece, Alice’s Adventures Under Ground, now known as Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, which originated as a story told to a young friend, Alice Liddell, during a boating trip on the Thames. Among his other works are Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There, The Hunting of the Snark, and Jabberwocky.
