N. K. Jemisin is an American author who has won three consecutive Hugo Awards for Best Novel. Her work has also won the Nebula, Locus, and Goodreads Choice awards. She is a reviewer for the New York Times Book Review, and she has been an instructor for the Clarion and Clarion West writing workshops.

Nnedi Okorafor is an author of fantasy and science fiction for both adults and younger readers. Her books include the novella Binti, which won the 2015 Hugo and Nebula Awards; the children's book Long Juju Man, which won the 2007-08 Macmillan Writer's Prize for Africa; the novel Who Fears Death, winner of the World Fantasy Award winner; and the novel Akata Warrior, winner of the Lodestar and Locus awards. She is an associate professor of creative writing and literature at the University at Buffalo. She was born to Igbo Nigerian parents in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Rebecca Roanhorse is the New York Times bestselling author of several books. She has won the Nebula, Hugo, and Locus awards for her fiction and was the recipient of the 2018 Astounding Award for Best New Writer.
Author Bio: Cadwell Turnbull
Cadwell Turnbull is the award-winning author of The Lesson and No Gods, No Monsters. His short fiction has appeared in The Verge, Lightspeed, Nightmare, Asimov’s Science Fiction, and several anthologies, including The Best American Science Fiction and Fantasy 2018 and The Year’s Best Science Fiction and Fantasy 2019. His novel The Lesson won the 2020 Neukom Institute Literary Award in the debut category. The novel was also shortlisted for the VCU Cabell Award and longlisted for the Massachusetts Book Awards. His novel No Gods, No Monsters is the winner of a Lambda Award, and a finalist for the Shirley Jackson Award. Turnbull grew up on St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands.
