Janet Benge was born in 1958 and grew up in Hamilton, New Zealand. She and her husband, Geoff Benge, combine talents to produce works such as the Christian Heroes: Then & Now series and the Heroes of History series. She and Geoff currently reside in Orlando, Florida.

Geoff Benge was raised in New Zealand, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and philosophy from Waikato University. He and his wife, Janet Benge, are best known for their series Christian Heroes: Then & Now and Heroes of History. He and Janet currently reside in Orlando, Florida.
