Kennedy School of Government. She is the founder of the AHA Foundation. Born in Somalia and raised Muslim, she grew up in Africa and Saudi Arabia before fleeing as a refugee to the Netherlands in 1992.

Bret Stephens, winner of the 2013 Pulitzer Prize for commentary, is the foreign affairs columnist and deputy editorial page editor of the Wall Street Journal. He was previously the editor-in-chief of the Jerusalem Post. Raised in Mexico City, Stephens was later educated at the University of Chicago and the London School of Economics. He lives with his family in New York City.
