Editorial Reviews

Editorial Reviews

“A superb mystery…written with more flair and literary sensibility than anything by John Grisham.” Charlotte Observer
“Entertaining…fascinating forensics…Readers…will take to Dr. Bill, a hero with a big heart who isn’t afraid to tackle complicated issues.” Publishers Weekly
“The second Body Farm mystery is as smoothly written as the first…but it goes a lot farther in exploring its protagonist, a man who spends his life looking at death. The story is razor sharp, too, with a nice mixture of mystery and horror. Fans of forensic fiction will want to add this author to their list of favorites.” Booklist
“This gripping tale…is like a harrowing ride on a twisty mountain road…The detail is exquisite.” Jerry Bledsoe, author of Bitter Blood and Before He Wakes
“Percolates with wit, gentility, and scientific savoir-faire…alive with verve and charm…engrossingly entertaining.” James Starrs, author of A Voice for the Dead
