Author Bio: Alex Gino

Alex Gino loves glitter, ice cream, gardening, awe-ful puns, and stories that reflect the diversity and complexity of being alive. Born and raised on Staten Island, NY, they are prouder of graduating from Stuyvesant High School than from the University of Pennsylvania. They have been involved with queer and trans activism for twenty years, and currently serve on the Board of Directors of NOLOSE, an all-volunteer body-positive organization committed to fat, queer, feminist, anti-oppression ideology. Having moved across the country in an old RV during the summer of 2008, they enjoy the heck out of living in Oakland, California.
